| This fascinating and picturesque shop, The Forest Guild, is situated in the lovely Georgian village of Newnham on Severn, in a conservation area, on the banks of the wild river Severn. The Guild Shop is situated on the High Street, in a cobbled 15th Century old stable adjoining an ancient half timbered former Inn. The shop, once entered, offers a very wide and eclectic assortment of goods, suitable for gifts and special occasions as well as hand made functional objects. There's a varied and ever changing selection of beautifully crafted items and collectables, from both local and national makers. As well as locally designed silver jewellery, antique jewellery, Forest of Dean pottery, soap and local prints, the Forest Guild Shop stock well known ranges such as Bristol Blue Glass and Bridgewater spongeware. Upstairs is an antique furniture gallery with well chosen quality items. Children are not forgotten - the Guild Shop always has a good selection of up to the minute toys and goods.
