The Forest of Dean and Wye Valley is a primary producer of top quality food and drink. Everything from cider, wine, artisan beer and cheeses, Gloucester old spot bacon and smoked Severn salmon, to organic juices and vegatables, free range chickens and eggs.
It is distributed locally and nationally and awaits every visitor. Many of our food producers have onsite shops, and produce can be found at regular Farmers' Markets and other outlets throughout the area.
The Abergavenny Food Festival is held annually on the third weekend in September and the Forest Food Showcase is held annually at Speech House on the first Sunday in October. The flavours of Herefordshire Food Festival takes place on the fourth weekend in October in the heart of Hereford. With many food stalls and demonstrations, they are great opportunities to try what the area has to offer.

The Ross-on-Wye Cider & Perry Co Ltd makes traditional farmhouse cider and perry at Broome Farm, Peterstow, close to Ross-on-Wye. Sales from the farm cellar - 2pm - 6pm every day. 
We are a young vineyard on a sheltered sunny site, overlooking Monmouth town and the surrounding countryside. We grow four varieties of grape: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Seyval Blanc & Triomphe. We also provide vineyard tours. 
The Brockweir and Hewelsfield village shop and cafe is set in the Wye Valley and is community owned and staffed by volunteers specialising in local produce. It is a traditional oak construction combined with sustainable technology. 
Whole-food cafe serving meals prepared on site using many local and organic ingredients including seasonal foods from the Taurus organic market garden. 
Hand made cheesemaking can be seen Tuesdays and Thursdays. Home cured bacon and hand made sausages including gluten free also available. 
The Miners Country Inn a welcoming rural pub. Ideally situated to local tourist attractions. Offers a dynamic, locally sourced, changing menu alongside a range of ciders and local real ales. Large beer garden, well behaved dogs are welcome in the bar. 
This popular 5 star tea and coffee shop with a gallery is a great place to meet friends. A wide range of hot and cold drinks, cakes and light lunches can be enjoyed as you sit and enjoy viewing our original gifts.
