Me and my fiance visited The Forest of Dean as a last minute road trip and we were recommended to stay at The Lambsquay by a local resident. Upon arriving, the hotel is set in its own private grounds and the gardens are very well kept. The Hosts, Mike and Lesley are brilliant for whom nothing seems to be too much trouble. They were very welcoming and gave us lots of helpful information on places to visit. Our room had spectacular views across the countryside and the cleanliness was outstanding! These are the things that you expect when going anywhere but its the small details that really make the difference, toiletries are supplied and perfect tea/coffee facilities in the room along with satellite tv. 
Breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious, fresh juices and home grown fruits! Very yummy!  
I cant say anything negative about The Lamsquay - I will be returning to the hotel but bringing the whole family this time to experience the very best of traditional Bed and Breakfast!!
