The Beaufort Arms is in the village of Raglan, historically connected with nearby Raglan Castle, close to both Monmouth and Abergavenny. It’s young owners and their welcoming staff offer very good service combined with excellent food and drink in a relaxed informal atmosphere with bedrooms to match.
There are 17 rooms in all. Two comprise a serviced apartment of 1 double and 1 single room, bathroom and sitting room. All rooms at the Beaufort are individually decorated all with crisp white cotton sheets, duck down duvets and throws. Complimentary water as well as tea/coffee and hot chocolate making facilities, Irons and ironing boards are available plus flat screen TVs, direct dial telephones and Internet access.
The Lounge Bar, in the original part of the Inn, boasts a large stone inglenook fireplace believed to have originally been in the castle itself. This together with the heavy beams, slate floors and unique carved bar proves a most popular meeting place for lunch and evening meals.
We have a function suite with its own private bar/lounge area for up to 120 people and a private dining/meeting room 20 plus. Quality food. Events arranged to your requirements and budget.
