Kings Head Hotel
Hotel in or near Ross-on-Wye

A family run AA 3 Star Hotel, situated in the most picturesque street in the market town of Ross-on-Wye.  14th century origins this former coaching inn maintains many of its original features, including oak beams, winding staircases  and a large stone fireplace.

All rooms are en-suite with  tea and coffee facilities, complementary mineral water, freeview flatscreen television, free Wi-Fi and car-park.

Rooms vary from smaller standard rooms to four poster, larger refurbished superior rooms and family suite.

The restaurant is also open to non-residents and is extremely popular in the local area. Our award winning chef uses  fresh local produce, free range meat, fresh fish and game when in season. The Kings Bar has a traditional local Inn atmosphere and offers local hand pulled traditional real ales, CAMRA recommended.

A great location for exploring The Wye Valley, Black Mountains, Tintern Abbey and Symonds Yat, the hotel is within a 40 minute drive of Cardiff and Cheltenham. Goodrich Castle, The Forest of Dean and The Welsh Marches are also easily accessible for day trips.
