We came here for a family meal and was sadly disappointed! Lovely friendly pub, locals seemed very chatty etc. However the food was 50/50! I'm not one to complain about food usually, as I don't like to make a scene, but the food was so overcooked and inedible that I was left with no choice but to do so. Nothing was said or done about it, other than a quick apology. I was still charged full price for the meal, despite only eating a couple mouthfuls. I probably should have complained about this further, but didn't want to risk spoiling our family night further (our famly had travelled down especially for this meal). The food was also very oily on 2 of the 4 dishes. We were really looking forward to coming here for the meal, but sadly we won't be returning.
