The Rock B&B is located just a 20 minute walk form the Forest of Dean's most popular attraction, which is the viewpoint at Symonds Yat Rock. From The Rock it is possible to enjoy many walks from the door to explore the Wye Valley or walk to the Centre of the Forest of Dean at Speech House along the Wysis Way. The Views from the Rock B&B itself stretch 25 miles. Formerly the Rock Inn and built around the time of the Spanish Armada it was one of the first pubs in England to serve British brewed Lager. The Rock offers modern stylish ensuite accommodation with all rooms accessed directly without entering the main house. There are several pubs to eat within a short distance.

Enjoy Continental or full English breakfasts serving award winning Pork sausages or Lindy's homemade Vegetarian Sausages. The breakfast room has views over the garden and is warmed by a Wood Burner.

Excellent B&B. Owners were friendly and helpful and obviously take pride in what they do as the room was warm and comfortable, the breakfast was very good, and everything worked. And nice attention to detail like walking info, maps, pub menus, tourist info in the rooms. Beautiful, quiet location. We’ll be coming back! Tony and Sina.
