From the moment we arrived until we had to leave this was a fantastic family reunion. As we entered, the wood burner was lit and the blackcurrant vodka was poured. The fantastic views of Tintern Abbey provided a background, as the 6 of us entertained 9 family members who were all able to sit down, and dine, in this spacious house. All the appliances are of the highest quality and the whole experience was very comfortable. We walked and talked all around this beautiful area, getting an unforgettable view of the cottage (oh, yes, and the Abbey) from The Devil's Pulpit. Can we come back please?

Definitely put this one on your shortlist! We booked this cottage for a family weekend, because we didn't have enough accommodation at home. It is top class and we'll be using it again next year. It's in excellent order, with everything you need, and of course the location is outstanding. Just to stand at the front door and look down on the Abbey in the evening was magical. The beer and food at the Anchor (a 2 minute walk) were very good indeed. The owners have been very amenable and great to deal with.
