We visitied The Old Station on Wednesday 25th May and thought it was excellent - clean and well kept. We enjoyed coffee and cake in the tearooms and then returned for a very pleasant lunch! We enjoyed the 'walk around' and found the leaflet useful and informative.

We plan to return to do some more walking - coffee & cake, a walk, lunch, a walk, and then tea and cake!!

Car park prices were reasonable, the grounds were very tidy and well maintained. The staff in the information centre were very helpful and we spent a very enjoyable few hours walking around with the dog and the children - who also loved the childrens activities available! Will definitely be visiting again for a sunday walk after lunch!

My family and I visited Old Station for the first time this weekend (april 16 & 17). We enjoyed it so much we returned on Sunday.

This is an excellant place for young and old, i took my daughter (5), son (12) and my mother (86) and there was something for all of us. The children took part in a treasure hunt each which was entertaining and good value for money and they got a prize. My mother enjoyed the flowers and the scenery while the children ran around.

The shop had a good aray of gifts and the exhibition was informative. It was also nice to see clean toilets for such a busy place.

While there we found out about the hands on history event on sunday so we all returned to see that which was extremely informative.

We found all the staff to be friendly and helpful and we shall definately return and whole heartedly recommend a visit.
