Harts Barn is situated on the edge of the Forest of Dean in its own picturesque settings and is only ten minutes aways from the Wye Valley.

This old Norman hunting lodge is one of the oldest properties in the Forest of Dean, built by William, Duke of Normandy, to keep his hounds when he came to hunt the hart in the Forest.

The main house and surrounding buildings have been sympathetically restored and incorporates the region's principle creative centre for traditional crafts and interiors, shops, farm shop, tearoom with garden and courtyard areas, history trail, lake with picnic site and play area.
